Complete your registration from your phone or computer. It takes a few minutes and covers your demographics, insurance, health history, and consents, so your first visit can be about your health, not paperwork.

Our front desk confirms your benefits and calls you to schedule your first visit, usually within one business day of your registration. If anything about your coverage looks unclear, we tell you before your visit rather than surprising you at checkout.

What to bring
- Insurance card, plus a secondary card if you have one
- Photo ID
- Medication list: everything you take, including supplements and doses
- Records: recent labs, imaging, or notes from other providers, if you have them
- Your questions: write them down beforehand; visits go better when we know what is on your mind

Common questions
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. IM Clinic is accepting new adult patients. Register online at new.imclinic.org, or call or text us at (256) 715-9598.
How soon can I be seen?
Most new patients are scheduled within about a week. After you register online our office calls you to set the appointment, or you can call us at (256) 715-9598 and schedule right away.
What insurance do you accept?
We are a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama preferred provider, and we accept Medicare and select Medicare Advantage plans including Blue Advantage and Humana. If you do not see your plan, call us at (256) 715-9598 and we will verify your coverage before your first visit.
Do you see children?
No. IM Clinic is an internal medicine practice, so we care for adults. Internists train specifically in adult medicine.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your insurance card, a photo ID, a complete list of medications and supplements including doses, and any records or test results from previous providers.
How do I transfer my records?
Ask your previous clinic to send records to IM Clinic at fax (855) 736-3485, or bring copies with you. We can also send you a records-request form.
